Mary is a senior Honors Economics and Political Science double major at the University of Connecticut. She is a New England Scholar and has been on the Dean's List. Outside of her academics, Mary is involved in research in both Political Science and Economics. She has been a SHARE Award and OUR Travel Award recipient. Mary presented a paper on judicial politics on a panel at the MidWest Political Science Association’s Annual Conference in April 2019. Currently, she is working on a project in economic development assessing ethnic and gender discrimination in the Peruvian labor market. She is eager to answer any questions on getting involved in research in the social sciences.
