FlowFair CT: A Site to Reduce Menstrual Inequities in Connecticut

About the Project

Flow Fair CT is an educational platform aimed at addressing menstrual inequities in Connecticut. It offers information on the state's menstrual disparities, Connecticut’s Menstrual Equity Law, and various resources for people who menstruate. Additionally, it includes a living map of free menstrual product distribution initiatives in Connecticut to better help menstruators access the products that they deserve.

The site's creator, Claire Murphy, was inspired to launch the project after witnessing menstrual inequities in her community and taking action against them during her time at the University of Connecticut. As a leader of a free menstrual product distribution service and advocate for menstrual education, Claire initiated this project to effect positive change. This project was made possible through a grant from the University of Connecticut’s BOLD Women’s Leadership Network.
