OUR Peer Research Ambassador Shreya Murthy.

Shreya is a senior pursuing degrees in Human Rights, Finance and Criminology with a minor in Political Science. She first became involved with research through the UConn IDEA Grant Program in its 11th Cohort. She conducted this research under the mentorship of Dr. David Richards during her sophomore year. During her sophomore year, she also worked on several smaller research projects in her classes that have helped her further develop her true research interests and focus.

Shreya joined the 2020 Cohort of University Scholars for her research examining the intersection of business, human rights and law in the aviation industry. After graduation she hopes to go to law school while simultaneously pursuing further research and graduate studies in human rights.
