Priscilla Grillakis

Priscilla is a senior majoring in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and minoring in Spanish. She is in the Honors Program, is a member of NSSLHA, and volunteers for UConn’s ESL club. She has completed observation hours under Speech-Language Pathologists in both public schools and clinical settings.

Priscilla is a UConn IDEA Grant recipient in the 9th Cohort. This is her first undergraduate research project, and she is working with three students from the Neag School of Education to design a peer to peer tutoring program to help Emergent Bilingual students improve their language abilities. She will be focusing on monitoring the language acquisition of the students in the program.
