Undergraduate Research Opportunity Description
Project Description | We have pioneered the field of Evolutionary Medicine to understand and develop therapies for human pathologies by understanding how the same physiology works “normally” in other mammals. The project will entail quantification of cancer metastasis in animal models, bioinformatics, imaging, microscopy, and specialized techniques.

Project Direction | The project connects evolution of pregnancy to cancer malignancy rates. Our lab is a very senior lab with many postdocs, so you will have an ample opportunities to learn. Many HRP students find opportunity to be part of a research publication. |
Mentorship and Supervision | A senior postdoc/student will be assigned as primary mentor. Weekly feedback will be provided in lab meetings, but daily feedback can be provided by the primary mentor. |
