OUR Grants

The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) administers three types of grants during the academic year: Presentation Travel Grant, Travel to Conduct Research Grant, and Research Expense Grant.  OUR Grant applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and awards are granted until funds are exhausted.

To apply for an OUR Grant students must meet the following requirements:

• Must be an undergraduate enrolled at any campus of the University of Connecticut.
• Must have a minimum cumulative 2.8 G.P.A.
• Must submit a signed Faculty Research Advisor Form (found with applications).
• Must not have already received an OUR Grant during the current academic year (fall/spring).

Students who receive an OUR Grant are required to present their work at the Frontiers in Undergraduate Research Poster Exhibition in the Spring of the academic year in which they received their OUR Grant.
